Race Management Courses

Upcoming course - March 14 and/or 15

Volunteers are essential to sailboat racing.

Our free Race Management Course provides volunteers with the fundamental knowledge and practical experience to run sailboat races.

Our Race Management Training covers:
  • Setting the course (triangle or windward/leeward)
  • Starting processes (timing, flags, the line, recording)
  • Finishing processes (order of finish / times)
  • Racing Rules of Sailing (introduction)
  • Safety
Race Management volunteering is an exciting way to be involved with sailing when not out on a boat. See racing from another perspective and gain ideas for your next start or simply to enjoy the show.

ell run races are appreciated by the sailors.
