Youth Sailing Camps

Accessible, affordable sailing camps help youth develop skills including:

  • Teamwork and Leadership
  • Self-reliance
  • Mechanics
  • Coping with Adversity
  • Water Safety
  • Math and Science
  • Balance
  • The Power of Possibility

Our sailing camps include land-based and on-the-water education using Club-provided sailboats (Optimist or 420's). These boats are used globally as youth training sailboats for even the youngest of children. For youth under 100lbs, please register in our "Kids" programs. For youth over 100lbs, please register in our "Teen" programs. Both programs cover the same material and teach the same skills. The teen program uses larger boats that require more weight to easily sail.

All youth sailing camps are taught by Sail Canada accredited instructors

Registration will open for 2024 Camps on Saturday, February 17 at 4pm MST. You can join our mailing list to get notified of any further details.

Please read the Sailing Camp Package as it contains everything you need to know about youth sailing lessons, including the camp schedule.
