The Glenmore Sailing Club is open and running sailing programs while the City of Calgary is working on the dam.

Family Friday Evenings

These Friday evenings are free and open to all Members and their guests and those youth that have taken a lesson with us

Come out and enjoy a fun and learning sailing evening as a family. Our instructors are available to provide supervision for youth that would like to go out in our Optimist sailboats. Kids can maintain skills developed during camps or experience a brief introduction to sailing.

Burgers and beverages are available from the Club.

Schedule: Sailing will take place from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. This program is run only during fair weather and is at the discretion of our staff whether it is appropriate for the children to go out.  

Program Costs: This is a FREE program. Parents must complete a waiver for each participating child.  

Parental Involvement: Parents are expected to be responsible for their children while on shore when not under the direction / supervision of our instructors. Parents are welcome on the dock and shore.

Note: Please leave all valuables at there are no secure lockers for storage of personal items.
