  • The registration is intended for skippers, boats, and crew with the intention of competing in the series.

Welcome to the WNR 2017 Season!

Please ensure that you register for the series.

Summary of key items:

- Series starts May 3 and continues until September 13, 2017

- Every Wednesday unless otherwise posted; 18:30 start

- 3 minute start sequence

- Series has 20 regattas, divided into 4 quarters. Each quarter consists of 5 regattas.

- You must be a member or guest of a member to participate.

- Any ASA affiliate/member may register for free

- Added Guest Fleet and Opti Fleet

- Finish line is an obstruction

- Time limit of 60 min, 20 min to reach the first mark, target time for each race 45 min

- Blue Flag System in effect 

- Start with a 1 min advantage to encourage learning and fun

- contact fleet.captain@glenmoresailingclub.com if you would like to be a BF starter

- 25% total WNR series discard

- Remember to always wear your life jacket, obey the City of Calgary bylaws, and adhere to directions given by the boat patrol

- Be nice, have fun, sail fast, and don't forget to come to the Club House for after racing social and awards.
