Summary of key items:

  • Series starts May 3 and continues until September 13, 2017
  • Every Wednesday unless otherwise posted; 18:30 start
  • 3 minute start sequence
  • Series has 20 regattas, divided into 4 quarters. Each quarter consists of 5 regattas.
  • You must be a member or guest of a member to participate.
  • Any ASA affiliate/member may register for free
  • Register your boat(s) here
  • Added Guest Fleet and Opti Fleet
  • Finish line is an obstruction
  • Time limit of 60 min, 20 min to reach the first mark, target time for each race 45 min
    • Blue Flag System in effect Start with a 1 min advantage to encourage learning and fun
    • contact fleet.captain@glenmoresailingclub.com if you would like to be a BF starter
  • 25% total WNR series discard
  • Remember to always wear your life jacket, obey the City of Calgary bylaws, and adhere to directions given by the boat patrol
  • Be nice, have fun, sail fast, and don't forget to come to the Club House for after racing social and awards.
