Sailing in The City

The Glenmore Sailing Club is ready to bring sailboats to your lake for a Beach Party or weekend afternoon to give your residents an opportunity to experience sailing.

Those who participate in a Sailing in the City event can expect:

  • a short sailboat ride (five minutes or so) - approx. 150 people can go sailing over four hours with two of our sailboats.
  • a knowledgeable skipper to safely manage the boat and provide a great introductory sailing experience.

The Glenmore Sailing Club brings:

  • a couple fun adult and youth training sailboats
  • volunteers to support Sailing in the City on the water and on shore

We look to the host community to provide:

  • PFDs for guests going sailing,
  • Access to a safety boat (and a driver if our PCOC carrying volunteers can not drive the motorboat),
  • promotion about sailing on the lake before and on the day,

Let's have a conversation about a sailing event at your lake community.
