Since 1959, the Glenmore Sailing Club has been the home of sailing and racing in Calgary.

Our active schedule each year focuses on racing as a means of developing strong sailing skills.

The Commodore presides at all general meetings of the Club, enforces bylaws & rules, and generally supervises the affairs of the Club. The Commodore ensures that a proper budget is done.

The Vice-Commodore officiates in the absence of the Commodore and assists with the Commodore's duties.

The Secretary keeps minutes of all proceedings of the Club.

The Treasurer keeps the finances of the Club in order.

The Fleet Captain oversees all regattas and races.

The Staff Captain assists the Fleet Captain and also superintends the maintenance of the barge, marks, and other outside equipment.

The House Captain oversees the management and operations of the clubhouse.

The Membership Chair keeps a roster of the members of the Club, oversees membership renewal, collects membership dues, assigns access cards, and seeks opportunities to bring new members into the club.

The Junior Sailing Coordinator is responsible for the development of a youth sailing program within the club.

The Communications Coordinator shall keep members informed of the events and news of the club and publish the member directory.

The Club Boat Coordinator is responsible for the management of the Club's boat assets.
